
The Fourth Ordinary Session of the National Assembly continued on Monday, 24th November 2025, beginning with prayers, followed by the correction and approval of the record of votes and proceedings from the sitting of Wednesday, 19th November 2025.
Lawmakers then moved into the Committee of Supply stage to consider the 2026 Estimates of Revenue and Expenditure for the fiscal year 1st January to 31st December 2026. The Committee led the presentation and scrutiny of the proposed allocations.
The Honourable Minister of Finance and Economic Affairs, Seedy K. M. Keita, attended the session alongside his Permanent Secretaries, Mod A. K. Secka and Baboucarr Jobe, as well as the Director of Budget, Mr. Mustapha Samateh, and his technical team. The Minister and his delegation listened attentively and took notes throughout the proceedings as members examined the 2026 budget estimates.
Their presence reflects the Ministry’s continued commitment to transparency, accountability, and constructive engagement with the National Assembly as the budget process progresses.
